We are open!

See our plans for reopening our church

OUR CURRENT SCHEDULE

Beginning Sunday May 24 we are offering a worship experience at 10:15 am inside our church building for anyone wanting to attend. We will also record and post the worship service that may be viewed later.

A Letter from our Pastor

None of us could have imagined at the beginning of this year that by March our worship gatherings would have been halted, moved online and all personal ministry interaction would have to cease here at the church building and beyond. But here we are, gathering around computer screens, TV’s, and cellphones to interact with each other. It has been such an unprecedented and unusual season indeed. My prayer is that you all are staying well.

Regardless of this crisis, ministry has not ceased here at MSBC; on the contrary. Several of you have found new ministries to serve in and others have blossomed where God has planted you in your own ministry. Many of you have helped with feeding our school children, local residents, and shut ins. Others of you have given monies to these ministries at your own expense. And yet others have served tirelessly on Sundays and throughout the week to produce the awesome worship services we are enjoying. I want to thank you for rising to the opportunity to do ministry!

There is good news on the horizon. Our Governor has announced plans for reopening our state. This obviously includes worship gatherings. The leadership team at our church has been working behind the scenes for weeks now completing our own reopening plans. We would sincerely appreciate patience and cooperation during this transition back to physical gatherings. The church building will look different inside. The way we interact with each other at gatherings will be different. Offering time, bulletins, and children’s activities will be affected. But rest assured, we are still the Church!

We will not expect that everyone will be back the first Sunday we are open. That is OK. We completely understand. It may take a while for many to get back to some kind of normal. But for those that choose to worship with us, know that we have been and are now taking every precaution to keep our facilities sanitized and offer you a safe environment to worship the Lord. Our desire is to feed you spiritually most of all while providing a safe place physically.

Please help us with our reopening by filling out the Reopening Questionnaire below. Your answers will help us continue to plan more effectively for our future. You will not be asked to give your name.
