Sermon Title: God's Wisdom on Display

Scripture: (Ephesians 3:1-13)

Sermon Big Idea: God displays His wisdom through the unified Church 

Introduction: 

As we journey through Ephesians, Paul invites us to see the church as God’s showcase, displaying His wisdom and grace to the world. Much like a treasured artifact in a museum, God’s greatest wisdom, uniting all people in Christ is on display through the unified church.

The Wonder Displayed (3:1–9): 

God has revealed the long-hidden mystery that all believers, regardless of background, are now united in Christ as one people. The church becomes a living display case of God’s manifold wisdom, showing the world and heaven the beauty of reconciliation and unity.

The Watchers Identified (3:10): 

The unified church is not only observed by those on earth, but also by spiritual rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. Our unity and reconciliation serve as God’s sermon to all powers, declaring His unsearchable wisdom and assured victory in Christ.

The Weight Applied (3:12–13): 

Because of Christ, we have the privilege of bold access to the Father, stepping confidently into God’s eternal plan realized in the church’s unity. Even our sufferings serve a purpose, as acts of faithful love and perseverance further display God’s glory to all creation.

Conclusion: 

The church is entrusted with a great privilege and responsibility: to be the living, visible display of God’s wisdom to the world and the heavens. Every choice toward unity, forgiveness, and reconciliation declares the reality of God’s grace and the greatness of His wisdom for all to see.
