Sermon Title: Grace Rewrites Every Relationship

Scripture: (Titus 3:1-7)

Series Big Idea: Grace motivates godly living more than rules ever could

Sermon Big Idea: Grace reshapes how we live in every relationship

Introduction:

Our world is marked by brokenness and strained relationships at every level, from society to the home. The life-changing grace of Jesus offers not only salvation but the power to reshape every relationship we have, beginning with humble obedience.

Grace Demands Humble Submission (v. 1-2)

Grace calls us to display gospel witness through respectful submission and good works, reflecting the humility of Christ. True strength, especially for fathers and leaders, is found not in asserting power, but in showing restraint, gentleness, and a Christlike readiness for every good work.

Grace Provides Our Total Justification (v. 3-7)

We are reminded that our own sinful past leaves no room for pride, as Jesus Christ is the visible appearance of God’s saving grace. Because Jesus alone achieved our justification, we are freed to lead, serve, and love others with the same forgiving, sacrificial love that He showed us.

Conclusion:

The gospel calls us not to moral superiority but to live out of the memory and power of Christ’s finished work on our behalf. As grace rewrites our hearts, our relationships become a living testimony to Jesus, showing Christlike gentleness, humility, and the transforming power of the gospel in every area of life.
