GRACE CHANGES EVERYTHING

Sermon Title: Grace at the Core of Christian Living

Scripture: (Titus 1:1-4)

Series Big Idea: Grace motivates godly living more than rules ever could

Sermon Big Idea: A biblical understanding of God's grace transforms our lives and leadership in the church

Introduction:

The letter to Titus shows that the Christian life is rooted not in human effort, but in the unearned gift of God’s grace. Before Paul gives instructions for godly living, he grounds everything in the finished work of Christ for us.

Grace as the Source of Our Standing with God (Titus 1:1-4)

Grace is God’s undeserved favor, the ground on which all believers stand before Him. When we receive grace as a gift, our obedience becomes gratitude rather than a frantic attempt to earn approval.

Peace as the Fruit of Grace in the Community (Titus 1:1-4)

Peace is the evidence that grace has taken root in our hearts and in our relationships. A church shaped by grace will reflect unity, gentleness, and the absence of rivalry, leading to flourishing spiritual life.

Conclusion:

Only God’s grace can empower genuine holiness and lasting peace in our lives and churches. When grace is at the core, everything else in Christian living falls into its proper place.
